Vivo V29e: Design
The phone Vivo V29e is superb. It is slim gives off a premium look, and feels good in hands. The front and back of the device are curved, and the back displays a dual-tone layout with a gleaming line that goes through the left side of the back panel. The smartphone is also very slim and light, making it very easy to hold and use with a single hand.
There is a lack of a camera module at this point. The LED flash is placed to the right of the camera holes, while the rear cameras rather extend out of the back panel. The gloss stripe on the smartphone's back panel shows Vivo branding for the camera features. Things are obvious upfront. The camera cutout can be found in the very center of a hole-punch display.
In wider terms, the Vivo V-series smartphones give a unique touch to a popular design that we have become used to over the last few years. Along with a very light and slim profile and a sense of change with the back panel and the new camera execution, we get the familiar curved front and back.
Vivo V29e : Display
The 6.78-inch 10-bit curved AMOLED panel on the Vivo V29e gives a refresh rate of 120Hz, an FHD+resolution of 1260x2800p, and support for HDR10+. This is an excellent display. When you look first at this display, it's a smooth and pleasant feel. It is very detailed, and clear, and gives a good depiction of a color.
The smartphone's display has three color settings: Standard, Bright, and Pro. The Pro option is the most color-accurate in this instance (sRGB), while the other two, standard and bright, are a bit more infused. Standard is the DCI-P3 profile, and bright is the filled color hue just intended to accent the vividness of the display.
Vivo V29e: Performance
Regarding performance, this reflects the most vulnerable in Vivo's V-series defense. The lavish feel and feel of the Vivo V-series smartphones has earned acclaim year after year, but Vivo in recent times enhanced their efficiency with the launch of the V27 Pro. However, the Vivo V29e fails to continue that trend.
The Vivo V29e's Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 lets it do multiple tasks and regular activities with ease. However, given the high-quality options in this price bracket, some users might be worried that it's not designed for heavy gaming.
Vivo V29e: Battery
Now, the Vivo V29e's battery backup is superb, although the overall performance may not be up to pace. The 5,000mAh battery that drives the smartphone offers 44W quick charging. Even with heavy use, the Vivo V29e's 5,000mAh battery gives sufficient power for the smartphone to keep running for nearly 1.5 days. It generally takes almost an hour to fully charge the smartphone.
Vivo V29e: Camera
With a 64MP main lens (f/1.79, OIS) and an 8MP wide-angle lens (f/2.2) on the back, the Vivo V29e has a dual camera setup. Although low-light performance can be erratic, daylight pictures are vivid and detailed. The 50MP front camera (autofocus, f/2.45) is excellent for capturing sharp selfies and making video calls; it has a little smoothing feature to give it an upscale look.
Vivo V29e: Verdict
In a nutshell, the Vivo V29e is pricey. But only if you view it from the perspective of performance. Further, it gives Vivo's sleek design language, which includes curved glass, a superb battery life, and a great camera setup. However, for people who aren't looking for a power-centric device, the Vivo V29e's subpar performance makes it difficult to rate in a moment as giving a Snapdragon 695 will eventually limit the experience.
